Collage Maker

Combine photos into one grid, row or column collage.

About this tool

A photo collage tells a story in one post. Add two to nine photos, pick a grid, row or column layout, choose a 1:1, 4:5 or 9:16 canvas, then adjust the gap and background colour. Photos are cropped to fill each cell, so keep your subject near the centre. Download the finished 1080-pixel PNG; nothing leaves your device.

Why make a collage instead of posting separate photos?

Sometimes one picture can't carry a whole moment. A birthday dinner, a weekend trip or a new product usually needs a few angles to make sense. A collage puts those angles in a single frame, so people see the full picture at a glance instead of having to swipe or scroll. This free online collage maker lets you do that in your browser, with no sign-up and nothing to install.

How the Collage Maker works

Start by adding between two and nine photos. Then choose how they should be arranged: a grid, a single row or a single column. A grid is the natural pick for a mixed set, such as a trip recap or a handful of product shots. A row suits side-by-side comparisons, and a column is handy when you want to stack a sequence from top to bottom.

Next, pick your canvas. You can go with a 1:1 square, a 4:5 portrait or a tall 9:16 format. Finally, adjust the gap between photos and the background colour until it feels right. When you're happy, download the result as a 1080-pixel PNG.

Tips for cleaner results

Every photo is cropped to fill its cell, so the edges of an image may be trimmed. Before you upload, think about where your subject sits. Faces and key objects near the centre will survive the crop far better than ones close to the border.

The canvas choice matters too. A square works in almost any feed, a 4:5 portrait takes up more vertical space on a phone screen, and 9:16 suits full-screen vertical formats. Pick the shape that matches where you plan to post.

The gap and background colour change the whole mood. A thin gap looks tidy and modern, while a larger one gives each photo room to breathe. If your pictures share a colour palette, a background that echoes one of those tones usually looks more polished than a random contrast. Photos with similar lighting and tone also sit together better than a mix of very dark and very bright shots.

Practical ways to use it

People use collages for before-and-after comparisons, holiday highlights, event recaps, recipe steps, outfit ideas and product listings. A small business can show several colours or angles of one item in a single image, and a family can fit a whole day into one shareable picture. A column layout also works well for a simple step-by-step visual.

Private by design

The collage is built entirely in your browser. Your photos are processed on your own device and are never uploaded, which means you can use personal pictures without worrying about where they end up. If you want to try a different arrangement, simply change the layout, canvas or gap and compare the results before you download.
